About Bottle Rocket Comedy

Bottle Rocket Comedy presents a series of events in Leicester, Peterborough, Derby and across the UK. Our shows feature the hottest comedic talent from rising stars to household names.

Based in the Midlands, the club first began at Firebug in April 2005, with an opening bill of Jason Manford, Andrew Lawrence and Russell Howard!

Other featured acts at the Leicester HQ have included Alan Carr, Michael McIntyre, Rhod Gilbert, Stewart Lee, Daniel Kitson, Kevin Bridges, Reginald D. Hunter, Richard Herring, Greg Davies, John Bishop, Jason Manford, Micky Flanagan, Sarah Millican and lots of other stars from the comedy circuit.

The club has now expanded to feature at a range of events across the UK including monthly comedy clubs at Peterborough Ket Theatre and regular events at The Y in Leicester and the Assembly Rooms in Derby.

Firebug in Leicester still hosts touring shows, Edinburgh previews (July) and a packed programme of shows in the Leicester Comedy Festival (February).

Bottle Rocket Comedy also works with National Amusements to present a weekly comedy night at Showcase Coventry.
